Welcome to the Blog - New Facial Products

Welcome to the Beautiful Carcass Blog. In this section of the site, we will be posting updates on products, information on ingredients, general discussions on skin and lip care, as well as anything and everything else our crazy brains come up with to delight you (or bore- but hopefully not the latter). Beautiful Carcass has so many things going on right now from launching new products to preparing for vending events. We are steadily filling orders from our awesome customers. We couldn't be happier about all of the positive feedback from bloggers, reviewers and customers alike.

Today we launched facial products: The Vigil – Lavender Facial Moisturizer and The Wake – Lemon Facial Cleanser. Several times we've been asked about face lotions. We decided to give it a try. In the end, we've created a decadent facial moisturizer using a fusion of avocado oil and Shea butter. These versatile ingredients are wonderful for dry OR oily skin. The scent of lavender is both soothing, as well acts to reduce inflammation. For myself, I'm pale and prone to dry skin with red blotches (attractive, right?). So far, the moisturizer has left my face feeling hydrated and smooth. At first, I felt self-conscious about the flecks of Shea butter throughout the moisturizer. I thought that it should be super smooth like many of the over-the-counter face creams. But then I reminded myself that I'm using RAW Shea butter. Do you know what that means? We are giving you the FULL EFFECT. None of its' nutrients are being refined away, which can also leave chemicals in their place. So, it may look different than most face creams but it's actually better for your skin. In case you haven't noticed, we love looking different and being different. We are not main stream.

The Wake- Lemon Facial Cleanser was a little harder for me to use at first. I have very sensitive skin. Astringent cleansers have never been my thing. But I wanted to try this- I'm not going to sell you a product that I haven't tested first on myself and actually loved. The Wake is a good example. I warmed my face up with a wash cloth then started rubbing it on. At first, it felt tingly and burnt a little. I realized it was the lemon and the baking soda doing their intended thing. I placed the warm wash cloth over my face for about 30-45 seconds then used it to wash off the product. I then splashed warm water on my face afterward. My skin was smooth, refreshed and was NOT red!!! I loved it. And, now I'm sharing it with you.

So, maybe tonight, you'll go give our facial products a try. Like all of our other items, a little goes a long way. I'm still working on a sampler size container of my facial moisturizer!

Thank you for reading, dear customer. Be swell. Be different. Be YOU
